I can’t do Donald Duck

I’ve tried, but I simply cannot imitate Donald Duck.  It’s the only imitation that I wish I could do, but it fails me.  My father-in-law can imitate the duck sound perfectly.  Of course, this adds to my frustration.  My children flock to him with screams of delight as he effortlessly sounds like the beloved Disney


my son is 18

My son Cameron turned 18 today.  I’m really enjoying this time with him.  I would like to slow the pace as life will soon change for him…and us…and our family.  But this is good, and he has a bright future.  Happy Birthday Cameron.  I love your quick wit, sarcasm, and intuition.  You’re a great thinker.

This verse caught my attention recently.  It found me on a day where I wasn’t being very…patient.  People, circumstances, and calendars all have a way of testing patience.  The words were exactly what I needed. It’s short, simple, and to the point! Be patient with everyone.  1 Thessalonians 5:14
