Off-Script #2 mainOff-Script Thought #2:  Move beyond trying to “fix” everyone and practice compassion.  Compassion is the key for the off-script family.

If someone has enough money to live well and sees a brother or sister in need but shows no compassion—how can God’s love be in that person?  1 John 3:17

Again, compassion is the key.  It’s the “secret sauce” for families who find themselves in unique, stressful, or challenging situations.  In the off-script family, someone has to take the lead with compassion.  Someone has to take the first step.  If you’re reading this – that person is probably you.  Compassion can be defined as caring enough to do something about the needs of others.  Ready to take that step?  Ready to extend compassion?
