default to yes

Published on June 12th, 2011

The word “yes” is a very interesting word. It’s a word that keeps
conversations, dreams, and ideas alive.  It’s a word that brings a smile.  It’s a word filled with expectations.  It’s a word that potentially changes the future.  There is nothing quite like asking for something that you’ve always wanted, or making a presentation for something that you consider valuable, and hearing the word “yes” at the end.  Talk about relief!  One of the greatest “yes” moments in my life came when I got engaged to Tonia.  And when she said “yes”…LIFE WAS GOOD.  No would have been a disaster.  It would have meant the end of the world.  But yes was good.  I believe God loves that word too.  He loves to hear that uncomplicated word from those who follow Him.  Do you find yourself defaulting to “yes” or “no” when it comes to God and His clear direction?
